Brand Barometer

For clients who are interested to continuously monitor the market position of their and competitors’ brands we recommend Brand Barometer, survey on a representative sample of 1000 respondents on a weekly basis. Results for clients are available online, and they can choose by themselves period for presenting results, for example for total investigated period of all weeks or on the level of subsamples with 1000 respondents in each week. Results are presented as statistics for each question in percentages as well as in absolute numbers, with all demographic and other relevant crossings and possibility to filter results according to different client’s preferences.

Brand Barometer survey is recommended especially in the monitoring of market phenomena that are subject of frequent fluctuations, for example:

  • In order to follow the changes in the dynamics of monthly consumption of investigated brand(s) because it can vary significantly from month to month, even during one month between receiving two salaries
  • In order to follow the influence of campaign (client’s and competitors’) on the dynamics of monthly consumption

 

Based on client’s request, some questions can be excluded or added to standard set of questions. Standard Brand Barometer includes the following six questions:

1 - How often do you personally consume... (Interviewer is asking for investigated category)

  1. do not sonsume it at all
  2. several times a year
  3. once a month
  4. two or three times a month
  5. once a week
  6. two or three times a week
  7. almost every day
  8. every day

2 - What are all the brands... (Interviewer is asking for investigated category) you are considering for consumption? (Multiple answers possible)

3 - Which brand... (Interviewer is asking for investigated category) do you use most often? (Only one answer is possible)

4 - What are all the brands... (Interviewer is asking for investigated category) for which you have seen advertisement lately?

5 - Which advertisement for... (Interviewer is asking for investigated category) is most attractive at this moment, for first trial or regular consumption of brand that is advertised? (First mentioned). What are other brands which are attractive for consumption because of their advertisement? (Other mentioned)

6 - Which brand... (Interviewer is asking for investigated category) is the best on the market? (Only one answer is possible)

 

Brand Barometer standard output with results for 6 questions is property of Pro Pozitiv and it is sold to all clients who are interested (who acquire the right to use results by purchasing). Any additional question requested by client is contracted with specific client and results from these additional questions are the exclusive property of that client.
